Position Title: Chartered Accountant (Product and Customer Engagement Specialist)
Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai with readiness to travel overseas
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant with a robust domain knowledge and excellent communication skills to join our dynamic team. This role bridges the gap between our customers and the product development team, ensuring that user requirements are accurately captured and relayed, and that customer feedback is integrated into product improvements. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating the transition and adoption of our SaaS software by providing exceptional support and presentations to customers, both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
o Work directly with customers to understand and document their requirements, ensuring their needs are effectively communicated to the product team.
o Conduct regular feedback sessions with customers to gather insights and suggestions for product enhancement.
- Product Team Collaboration:
o Relay customer feedback to the product development team, providing detailed reports and actionable insights.
o Contribute to the product development process with your own inputs and ideas for improvement based on customer interactions and industry knowledge.
- International Support:
o Be prepared to travel overseas to assist customers in the transition and adoption of our SaaS software.
o Provide on-site support and training to ensure smooth implementation and effective usage of the software.
- Presentations and Demonstrations:
o Deliver compelling demos and presentations to potential and existing customers, showcasing the features and benefits of our software.
o Prepare and present detailed product overviews and usage tutorials tailored to customer needs.
o If issues arise during demos, attempt to replicate the problem and collaborate with the tech team to find solutions.
- Technical Engagement:
o Demonstrate a high degree of tech-friendliness, making efforts to thoroughly understand, test, and support the product.
o Conduct hands-on testing to replicate customer-reported issues and work closely with the technical team to resolve them.
o Proactively coordinate with various teams, including services and customer success, to ensure comprehensive support for customers and smooth product operations.
- Cross-functional Coordination:
o Work closely with business leadership and marketing teams to align product features with market needs and business goals.
o Engage with various internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and support business heads in achieving their objectives.
- Roadmap Prioritization:
o Work with the product team to prioritize items in the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
o Ensure that the most critical and high-impact features are given priority in the development cycle.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Professional Qualification:
o Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
o Proven experience 0f 0-1 years in a similar role, preferably within a SaaS or software development environment.
Skills:
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal teams.
o Strong presentation skills, with the ability to conduct demos and training sessions.
o Ability to gather and interpret customer feedback, translating it into actionable product requirements.
